pulpectomy

Removal of the polyp is performed by the gastroenterologist during colonoscopy.
This gesture is done without opening the abdominal cavity. All this operation is done with a visual check by the doctor who checks that the polyp is removed in good conditions.

Proctoscopy

Rectoscopy is an examination of the rectum and anus.
This examination reveals diseases of the region of the anal canal and the lower rectum.
Samples can possibly be made with a biopsy forceps.
The examination is performed at the anal level with an anoscope (10 cm) which is a small device introduced into the anal canal and provided with a light.

colonoscopy

Colonoscopy is an examination that can explore the large intestine and sometimes the end of the small intestine.
It is made using a probe called “colonoscope”.
During the examination, polyps can be taken. These polyps will then be analyzed. If necessary, the doctor combines the examination with a gastroscopy (examination of the stomach).

fibroscopy

In search of a disease of the esophagus, stomach, or duodenum (exiting the stomach) Example: ulcers, hiatal hernia, cancer, infection with a fungus etc …
The examination is performed under a short general anesthetic that allows you to feel nothing and see nothing. A fine and flexible hose is introduced through the mouth which allows:

to see the inside of the stomach
to take samples for analysis if necessary
to perform certain acts (sclerosis of oesophageal varices, stenting, gastrostomy tube placement to allow feeding when it is not possible by mouth …)
The average duration of the intervention is 15 minutes.
